Trump brings back favorite nickname for himself as he tears into Kamala Harris for calling him ‘unstable’

Donald Trump is responding to Kamala Harris’s escalating attacks on him as “unhinged” by calling himself a “stable genius” – although this time he claims it is others who gave him the notable distinction.

He delivered a scathing attack on his Democratic rival on Fox & Friends when responding to a lengthy question about Harris’ attacks on him as “unsettled and unhinged.”

Trump called it a “pretty crude question” as co-host Ainsley Earhardt talked through a series of such attacks, including the Harris camp use in a new TV ad called him “unstable, unhinged and out of control” in a race with no clear frontrunner.

Trump then launched his own personal attacks on Harris and her intelligence agencies, labeling Democrats as “misinformation people.”

“First of all, the question is kind of rude because you’re giving this woman’s whole argument: I don’t think she knows where she is. She is a person with a low IQ. She’s not smart. Everyone knows that. She didn’t even pass her law exam. It was a big thing,” he said, noting the fact that she initially failed to pass the California bar.

“She never thought she would get through it.

“You know, if you tell me things like this, I’ll say it. I am a person who – they are a threat to democracy. These people are disinformation people. They’ll say, let’s go out with this… They tried. He’s a dictator. He’s going to take over the whole world. He’s a this. Every week they try something different. So far – I think this is the offense they have this week. It doesn’t seem to be working,” Trump said.

‘I’m the most stable. Remember they said stable genius. I am the most stable person. I’ve been doing this for a long time,” Trump said.

It was Trump, in 2018, who called himself a stable genius, in a comment that attracted a lot of attention at the time.

“Actually, my two greatest assets all my life have been mental stability and being very smart,” he tweeted after complaining about the Russian investigation at the time.

‘Crooked Hillary Clinton also played these cards very hard and, as everyone knows, went down in flames. I went from VERY successful businessman to top TV star… to President of the United States (on my first try). I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius… and a very stable genius at that!’

The comments came during a friendly meeting just hours after Trump spoke at the annual Al Smith dinner in New York. He answered questions from schoolchildren, including one who wanted to meet his favorite farm animal (Trump went with a cow and then attacked Harris as a “radical left-wing lunatic.”

“I love cows, but if you go with Kamala, we won’t have cows anymore,” he told the ten-year-old questioner.

Trump also revealed he was on his way to meet Newscorp executive chairman Rupert Murdoch and said Fox employees wrote some of his jokes before the dinner, where Trump got some laughs and criticized Harris for submitting a video instead of meeting in person to appear.
