Travis Scott sparks outrage as several concertgoers are turned away at rapper’s sold-out show in Sydney

Travis Scott fans have criticized the American rapper and show organizers after several concertgoers were turned away from his sold-out performance in Sydney on Friday night.

Several disgruntled ticket holders who attended the gig at Allianz Stadium vented their frustrations after a number of enthusiastic fans were refused entry due to their choice of outfit.

Commenting on the issue on Facebook group Tea Time, one participant asked why people were denied entry to the concert, as the stadium does not have a set dress code based on their entry conditions.

“Why do people get rejected at Travis Scott because of what they wear?” the poster asked. “Just curious, that’s all.”

When a fan asked what they had been wearing, the poster pointed out that those denied entry were dressed in “sports team jerseys and motorcycle patches.”

Wearing patches associated with motorcycle gangs is illegal in licensed premises in New South Wales.

In the comments, several other group members shared their experiences participating in the concert.

One user claimed that one cardholder was “turned away for wearing all-black clothing.”

“Did they tell him something about no one in black or striped sweaters?” the fan added.

“Yessss almost got sent away, literally in a green fake football shirt,” said another concertgoer.

“Did I see so many people getting rejected???????”

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Allianz Stadium representatives for comment.

American rapper Scott, 33, is currently on his Circus Maximus tour in Australia and kicked off his run of sold-out shows in Sydney on Thursday, October 17.

The singer, whose real name is Jacques Bermon Webster II, landed in Sydney on a private jet just hours before his sold-out performance later that evening.

His arrival came as excitement built for his performance at Allianz Stadium, with more than 40,000 in attendance at the first stop of his Australian tour.

Travis is expected to spend some time off in Sydney before traveling to Melbourne for a show at Marvel Stadium on October 22.

He then wraps things up on October 26 with his final Australian show at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane.

Kylie Jenner’s ex Travis left some Australians unimpressed when he revealed his list of concerts Down Under during his Circus Maximus world tour.

After revealing he would be visiting Sydney alone, Melbourne, Brisbane and New Zealand, many fans were left furious at having to travel to see him live.

Fans in Perth and Adelaide were left particularly dissatisfied after he became the latest in a long line of global stars to skip Australian cities during their tours.

“And Perth?” one fan messaged the artist, while another added: “Typical [that] Perth is being left out.”

The US leg of Travis’ Circus Maximus World Tour has already earned the artist an eye-watering $27 million, according to Perth Now.

Travis isn’t the first to skip the WA capital during a visit to Australia after Paul McCartney and Taylor Swift both failed to perform there.
