Unhinged ‘Karen’ threatens to have neighbor arrested – only for her own husband to be cuffed instead
An unhinged woman was heard to threaten to have her neighbor arrested, but was immediately met with karma when her husband handcuffed her instead.
A clip of that moment has since gone viral online when a resident of the building posted her interaction with the woman and her husband.
In the clip, the couple’s neighbor claims she was trying to “clear the air” after they accused her and her fiancé of running an “illegal dog daycare” out of their home.
In an attempt to talk to the couple about the situation, the neighbor, an Asian woman, said she knocked on the back door of their home, which appeared to be the trigger for the “blowout argument,” in which racial slurs were directed at her were thrown.
The incident, which quickly escalated, featured a woman – later referred to as ‘Karen’ – wearing a pink short-sleeved shirt and blue jeans. Her husband was seen wearing a white T-shirt and navy blue shorts as she shouted back and forth with the neighbor.
Different clips captured different parts of the fallout after the neighbor posted surveillance videos of the house and moments she recorded on her phone. It is unclear where exactly this took place.
An elderly couple was seen becoming angry with their neighbor after she knocked on the back door of their home, which appeared to be the trigger for the ‘outburst argument’
The video, which has been viewed 6.8 million times since it was published on September 12, started with Karen shouting at her neighbour.
“I’ll have you arrested,” she said to the woman behind the camera, pointing her finger at her.
“Don’t point at me,” the neighbor replied.
“I’ll have you arrested,” the older woman replied, before her neighbor asked, “For knocking on your door?”
The angry woman then shouted back, “Yes!”
“You knocked on my door,” I said, the neighbor said.
“I never knocked on your door,” the angry woman replied.
Her husband then jumped into the heated confrontation, shouting, “You knocked on our back door!”
His wife then came back in, pointed at her house and said, “That’s a real door idiot!”
After a short silence, the woman asked her neighbor, “Are you that stupid?”
The young woman tried to respond, but the older neighbor interrupted her and said, “Yes!” before appearing to make fun of her, adding: “You’re stupid!”
The lady recording chuckled as her irate neighbor continued.
“We knocked on the front door for a goddamn damn reason,” she shouted, as her husband added, “You knocked on the back door!”
The pink-clad woman then told her neighbor she could call the police if she wanted, while the young lady asked why knocking on the back door “makes a difference.”
‘It does matter! We don’t know you,’ the shouting neighbor responded.
‘We used to be polite. You petted my dog. I talk to you all the time when you walk,” the young woman said as the woman threw racial slurs around.
“Why the fuck are you knocking on our back door, you idiotic Asian bastard,” the woman shouted before running up the stairs.
The man then asked again why the woman was knocking on their basement door while the filming lady laughed.
The irate older woman then turned around and shouted: ‘F*** you!’ while the neighbor tried to explain why she chose to approach them by knocking on their back door.
“Because I thought you get in and out of there all the time, so that’s what I thought,” the woman said before the older lady interrupted her and said, “That’s none of your business!”
“We don’t know you,” the annoyed lady added as her neighbor tried to explain why she did what she did.
‘No, you don’t explain anything. I’m an English major, so shut the hell up, you idiot!’, the woman shouted before heading back up the stairs.
The man and woman are seen on surveillance footage berating their neighbor, who they accused of running an “illegal dog daycare” from their home.
“Gosh,” the young lady replied, while the gray-haired woman said, “You’re a *** a**hole and call – do it again – I don’t care. The police are coming.”
‘Let them come, please. I’ll call them myself,” the woman replied on the recording.
The clip ended with a photo of the woman’s unnamed husband being placed in a police car.
In the caption, the content creator known as skunarpz claimed that the man was arrested because “a warrant was issued for his arrest.”
In the days after the incident, the woman shared more videos, including a clip of another neighbor coming in.
The neighbor, who was not seen, was heard asking the older white woman if she thought she liked the young neighbor “because she’s brown.”
“I said I wanted to make sure everything was okay, I think I asked you,” the second neighbor said.
“You didn’t care about us,” the older woman replied.
“You’re the first person I asked, ‘Are you okay?’ You just sat there and looked at me,” the neighbor said.
After a few more words were exchanged between the two, the older lady said, “Oh, so don’t listen to me because I’m white!”, before slamming her door shut.
“This motherfucker is crazy,” the neighbor told the woman during the recording.
Further clips showed a man, who the young neighbor claimed was the landlord, interacting with the woman.
Although she said she’s “not sure what happened,” Karen was heard telling the man, “Get out of here,” before slamming her door.
The neighbor who recorded the intense conversation said she has two of her own dogs and occasionally sits on her sister.
