Travis Kelce jokes he did ‘nothing’ on bye week with Taylor Swift in Chiefs TikTok clip

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce returned from his bye week with girlfriend Taylor Swift and brought plenty of jokes for the team’s social media accounts.

In a TikTok post of players returning from their breaks, Kelce was asked what he did during the week off.

“I didn’t do anything,” Kelce said with a wry smile. “I didn’t do anything.”

Some of the team’s players spent their time with family, on vacation or – in the case of one player – at a Renaissance fair.

Meanwhile, Kelce took a trip to the Big Apple with Swift and took in the sights and sounds of New York City.

The pair went out for dinner on back-to-back nights, including a night out with Swift’s boyfriend Blake Lively and her Hollywood husband Ryan Reynolds.

They also played a New York Yankees game from the luxury suites of Yankee Stadium on Monday during the American League Championship Series.

A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Kelce saw his hometown Guardians fall to the Yankees in the first game of the series.

Kelce revealed all the details about the couple’s outing on the latest episode of his podcast “New Heights,” alongside brother Jason Kelce.

“It was mixed feelings because I was there and I wanted to have some fun with Tay and everyone. All our friends [came]Kelce said. ‘We had [an] incredible crew, who are with us and will stay with us.”

He added, “And you know, it was fun, even though it was… [Guardians] it didn’t work out, it was still a close, exciting match.

“And it was cool to see Yankee Stadium, because I’ve always wanted to see that thing in real life in a playoff game, in a hostile environment, and it didn’t disappoint, man. The Yankees, the fans, the players, everyone involved, man.”

The Chiefs are back in action on Sunday for a rematch of the last Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers.
