Avengers star Dave Bautista calls Donald Trump a ‘weak, tubby toddler’ in blistering video rant on Jimmy Kimmel

Avengers actor and former WWE wrestler Dave Bautista mocks Donald Trump as weak and overweight in a video on Jimmy Kimmel’s show trying to break his carefully cultivated tough image.

“Is he the strong Alpha Man that many voters think he is? Not according to one of the toughest guys I know, he’s not,” says Kimmel, introduction of the sketchafter saying “young, straight, white men love Donald Trump” and “see him as a “macho, macho man.”

It starts in a boxing ring, where Bautista shows off his physical prowess and says, “Men, we need to talk.”

“A lot of men seem to think Donald Trump is a tough guy. He’s not.’

He then goes through a series of one-liners. ‘Look at him. He wears more makeup than Dolly Parton,” he says, as the camera cuts to a bronzed statue of Trump.

He says “that man is afraid of birds” and “made his father pay a doctor to say his feet hurt so he could avoid the draft” – a reference to the bone spurs that kept him out of Vietnam but didn’t get him stopped outside the golf links.

The video shows unflattering images of Trump’s “underbelly,” which he likens to a “garbage bag full of buttermilk.”

Other jokes involve Trump’s challenges with an umbrella, the superhero-like trading cards he hands out, and his challenges while sipping from very small bottles of water, to laughter from the Jimmy Kimmel Live audience.

That’s in contrast to Bautista, who played Drax in the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, delivering several strong performances while ranting that Trump “cheats at golf” and “has skills – big ones, like Dolly Parton.”

Some insults are not suitable for all ages, but Bautista also says he is “moody, pouts, throws tantrums” and “bows down to Putin.”

The joke caused a lot of laughter among the studio audience, but comes with a vulnerability that is quite serious for Kamala Harris: the erosion of support among men.

It’s part of the electoral landscape that pits the candidate seeking to become the first female president against Trump, who is making the “fight, fight, fight” champion and surviving an assassin a central part of his reelection efforts.

Trump has long touted the prowess of the US military, saying he took out a top Iranian leader and accusing rivals of being “weak” or “losers.” His convention featured Hulk Hogan, and his rallies featured James Brown’s “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World.”

Trump has a 10-point lead among men, according to the latest Wall Street Journal poll. Harris is building a strong lead among women, with abortion becoming a top issue.

Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk told podcast listeners, “If you’re a man in this country and you don’t vote for Donald Trump, you’re not a man.”

Former President Barack Obama has warned black men amid signs of erosion in their support for Harris.

“You’re thinking about calling out or supporting someone who has a history of belittling you because you think that’s a sign of strength, because that’s what being a man is?” Obama asked in Pennsylvania. “That’s not acceptable.”
