Terrifying moment screaming cleaner is left dangling from 16th-floor window by her fingertips after slipping while wiping the windows
This is the dramatic moment a woman clings for her life as she dangles from the edge of a high-rise apartment building after slipping while cleaning the windows.
The incident took place on Tuesday in Guaruja, a coastal town near Sao Paulo, Brazil, and reports said the cleaner hung from the windowsill for five minutes.
The tense footage, filmed by a man in another building across the street, shows the woman holding on by her fingertips as she hangs from the building’s 16th floor.
Horrified onlookers in the street below can be heard screaming before she is eventually pulled back into the building by the men, only saved because her feet rested on the window below.

The woman was sixteen floors up when she slipped out of the window of the high-rise building
People in the apartment tried to pull her back in as she clung desperately
The video shows the cleaner trying to reach the windowsill to pull himself back in, but is unable to do so.
The man filming can be heard counting the floors before saying that the fire brigade should be called.
But luckily, a few minutes later, three men appeared through the window and pulled the woman back inside as people clapped down the street.
According to local media reports, the woman had slipped while cleaning the windows in the apartment.
She reportedly dangled and screamed for help for about five minutes in total before neighbors managed to break into the flat.
It is currently unclear whether police are investigating the incident.
