Putin preparing to rush ‘at least 10,000’ North Korean troops to Ukrainian border after ‘striking deal’ with Kim Jong Un

Ukraine faces the threat of a massive influx of North Korean troops being trained by the Russian military.

At least 10,000 Pyongyang regime soldiers are believed to be taking part in maneuvers ahead of an expected deployment in regions close to the Ukrainian border.

The Kremlin is said to have paid North Korea to send personnel to the front in an agreement over President Vladimir Putin’s state visit to Kim Jong-un.

North Korea, like Iran, would also supply weapons and ammunition.

The suggestions emerged as Volodymyr Zelensky unveiled his blueprint for the liberation of Ukraine, calling Russia and its allies a “coalition of criminals.”

Observers say the Ukrainian president faces an uphill battle to convince Western allies to support his Victory Plan.

This includes requests that have already been rejected in recent weeks, such as immediate access to NATO and permission to fire Western long-range weapons at Russia.

Aspects possibly related to battlefield strategies have not been disclosed for security reasons.

President Zelensky claimed it was a “plan to strengthen our state and our position, to be strong enough to end the war, to ensure that Ukraine has all its strength.”

But Ukrainian opposition MP Oleksii Honcharenko described the proposal as “empty words, removed from reality.”

The incident was also cited by South Korean Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun, who said it was “very likely” true. If so, this would be the first confirmation that Kim's forces are stationed on or near the front lines.
