Father-of-three is shot dead in front of his children after ‘road-rage driver, 75, snapped’
A 75-year-old man has been charged with murder after a father was shot dead in front of his three children during a traffic accident in North Carolina.
Terrell Giddens is accused of killing 40-year-old Jeffery Guida after an argument got out of hand at an intersection in Catawba, North Carolina on October 12.
He allegedly pulled out his gun during the road rage incident and shot the father of three dead.
He then allegedly fired his gun at the truck where Guida’s children, ages 13, 11 and 2, were.
Fortunately, none of the children were injured in the attack, authorities said.

Giddens has been charged with murder and three counts of attempted first-degree murder.
Detectives say he fled the scene but was tracked down by police and taken into custody.
“The suspect was charged, shot the victim and then fired shots into the victim’s car,” said Aaron Turk with the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office.
Herb Perce, an attorney who was in the courtroom when Giddens appeared Monday, said, according to Fox 12, “Sounds like the guy just snapped.”
‘It’s just a shame that the man was killed. “It’s just a shame and this man will probably spend the rest of his life in prison,” he added.

One said their heart ‘goes out to you’, while another added it was ‘incredible’.
Giddens was denied bail and told the court he would hire his own lawyer.
