A new day means a new team sheet and today we have chosen a game that is famous for a particular incident rather than the match itself.

Just months after leaving Arsenal, Emmanuel Adebayor had joined rising Manchester City and scored against his old side in a crucial Premier League match. After scoring, the attacker ran the length of the pitch up to his knee in front of the away support, resulting in a number of objects being thrown at him and a hefty fine.

We’ve already given you one name, but we want to know if you can remember the other ten men who lined up for Manchester City that day. Full instructions on how to play can be found at the bottom of the article and in the game itself – and be sure to check back tomorrow!

HOW TO PLAY

The aim of the game is to score as few points possible!

If you guess a player on the first try, you score one point – i.e. the lowest score for guessing each player on the first try is 11.

Guess a correct letter in the correct position and it turns green. Guess a correct letter, but in the wrong position, and it turns yellow.

You have six guesses for each player – and if you fail, we reveal their identity for 11 points! You can also ask for a free letter, but it will cost you a point.

So play on to see if you can score the best possible total of 11 – or fail with each player and score 121.
