Aldi Australia is set to bring back its most popular luxury Christmas buy – and it’ll save shoppers a fortune
Aldi Australia has delighted shoppers with the return of a pre-holiday Christmas favorite – lobster tails.
The $34.99 treat was a sell-out success in 2023, with shoppers rushing to get their hands on the premium purchase that comes with a garlic butter glaze and can last up to 12 months in the freezer.
Lobster tails cost more than $60 each at fishmongers during the Christmas season.
Aldi’s entire Christmas fish collection will be back in stores from Wednesday, October 23.
Aldi’s highly anticipated line ranges in price from $3.99 for shrimp balls and shrimp rolls.
Shoppers will find everything from light and airy starters to filling main courses.
There are also three new lobster additions, including the Lobster Thermidor Croquettes 260g ($6.99) and Split Rock Lobster ($29.99) in two delicious types of garlic and herb sauce and French sauce.
Other budget options include the scallop and champagne gratin ($9.99), lobster puff pastry canapes ($6.99) and smoked salmon and cream cheese puff pastry canapes ($6.99).
