Australian council sends out dramatic letters warning against the Covid vaccine: ‘Gone completely off the rails’
A council has criticized the state’s premier for taking the unprecedented step of sending dramatic letters warning against the Covid vaccine, citing controversial claims that it damages DNA.
Port Hedland Council, which covers the major WA mining town more than 1,000 miles north of Perth, voted on Friday to send letters to the Prime Minister, federal and state health ministers demanding the Covid vaccines be withdrawn .
The motion was tabled by councilor Adrian McRae, 49, who told Daily Mail Australia on Monday he hoped writing to all 537 councils in Australia would have a knock-on effect.
The motion cited unverified claims that the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines damage people’s DNA.
“If a level of government makes a motion and it is passed, it is not an injunction, but it is not far behind,” Mr McRae said.
“We will send this letter to every council in the country and I guarantee we will have one person on each council who will support us.”
On Monday, WA Premier Roger Cook insisted the Covid vaccines were not dangerous and said the council had been ‘completely off the rails’.
“The City of Port Hedland must stick to its knitting,” the Prime Minister said.
The council for WA mining export hub Port Hedland has written to all doctors on its borders, urging them to warn doctors about the risks of the mRNA Covid vaccines
“It has to stay focused on the services and people of that community. It should improve his game.”
Mr McRae called the Prime Minister’s response ‘pathetic’.
“He was health secretary when this (the vaccines) was rolled out, he has a conflict of interest,” Mr McRae said.
“If this goes to every council in WA I guarantee we will at least take it down.
“I know there’s more than one, there’s probably two or three in every council on WA that support this and they’ll put this letter out themselves and they’ll (say) ‘holy shit, guys, we gotta do something here On.”‘

Western Australian Premier Roger Cook has condemned Port Hedland Council’s actions, telling them to ‘stick to their knitting’
Mr McRae said that of the other four councilors who voted in favor of the motion, one had been injured by a vax and suffered serious blood clotting, while another said his health had not been as strong since taking the injection and was ‘terribly’ sorry of had.
“These are not crazy ‘anti-vaxxers’ as I was called because I led marches, spoke at large rallies and traveled the world,” Mr McRae said.
“Where we live, the vaccine mandates have really destroyed the heart of our city; 70 per cent of the Pilbara and Kimberley did not want to take these jabs.”
Australia’s Department of Health and Aged Care and medical watchdog Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) have denied that the Covid vaccines contain DNA that can be taken up into cells.
“The mRNA is quickly broken down by the body,” the Ministry of Health website states.
‘It never enters the nucleus and cannot in any way affect or combine with our DNA to change our genetic code.’
The TGA has been contacted for comment.
