Two Georgia men discovered they were the father of the same child after they both arrived at a school to pick up a young girl they believed to be their daughter.
TikTok user Sheena Jackson, who said she works in the school’s front office, outlined the interaction between the two alleged fathers as they clashed over custody and confusion in a series of videos.
“And so they looked at each other, and the father said, ‘Why are you looking at my child? Who are you?'” she said.
“And he said, ‘Who are you? What do you mean, I’m her father.'”
Both men were listed as emergency contacts for the child and were correctly identified after their ID was checked.
Jackson then realized that the men were about to fight and called to get the warden.
She and the secretary looked at each other and I thought: I have to get the director now, because at this point we need the director. We need someone to call the school principal. What’s really going on here?’
As soon as the principal arrived at the front desk, Jackson was advised to call the mother to come to the school. The mother began to “scream and cry” upon arrival as she watched both men “go in.”
Even before the mother entered the school to confirm that both men were eligible to pick up her daughter, one of the fathers ran to meet her in the parking lot.
“When she got to school, you know, one of the dads ran up to her in the parking lot,” Jackson said.
According to Jackson, the man asked the woman to explain the baffling situation.
“What’s going on? What’s going on? Why didn’t you tell me?” So we ran into the parking lot with them. How about he hit her. He hit the mama.”
As soon as the principal arrived at the front desk, Jackson was advised to call the mother to come to the school. The mother began to “scream and cry” upon arrival as she watched both men “go in.” According to Jackson, one of the alleged fathers then began to approach the woman for answers
The daughter was not present at the time of the altercation, or during the moment of confusion and aggression between the two men.
Paramedics and police soon arrived to check on the mother.
“No one ever knew anything,” Jackson said. “This was crazy.
“But eventually the police were there. One of the dads was locked up. You know, Mommy went to the ambulance. Grandma had to come and get the child, because at that time no one could have the child.’
Jackson added that she contacted the mother to ask questions about the incident. She said she was told that the mother’s best friend was responsible for the simultaneous arrival of both men at school.
She added that the mother had no intention of telling her daughter about the two men.
