Welcome to Fotospotlight. For our latest installment of the series, ANDY HOOPER has put together his best photos from the 2024 Motocross of Nations.

With the sport’s origins tracing back to Britain, it was fitting that the world’s best riders would come together in a clash of nations at the Matterley Basin Grand Prix circuit in Winchester.

The rainy conditions did not detract from the electrifying atmosphere as fans from all over the world cheered on their respective countries in what turned out to be a historic event.

In the end, team Australia, powered by the prodigious talents of Lawrence brothers Hunter and Jett, took home the glory, with the USA finishing in second place and Great Britain in twelfth.

Our man ANDY HOOPER was on hand to capture all the emotion and drama, using a Nikon Z9 and Z8 camera and 24-70mm, 70-200mm and 400mm lenses.
