Jamie Foxx and daughter Anelise don coordinating outfits as they celebrate her 16th birthday in Beverly Hills

Jamie Foxx looked every bit a proud dad as he celebrated his daughter Anelise’s 16th birthday on Saturday evening.

The actor, 56, took his daughter Anelise, who turned 16 on Wednesday, October 9, to the famous restaurant Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills for a late birthday dinner.

The pair were dressed in what appeared to be coordinated casual clothes.

Foxx looked dapper in a gray, black and white hoodie and pants with handkerchief designs on them.

He wore a pair of futuristic looking silver shoes with black socks.

Anelise stood out in a red hoodie and matching wide-leg trousers with sketches of a prehistoric-looking bird on them. The teen wore red sneakers and her long, dark red-tinted hair was styled in natural curls.

Foxx shares his daughter with ex-girlfriend Kristin Grannis.

He is also father to eldest daughter Corinne, 30, whom he shares with ex-Connie Kline.

The Oscar winner, who was hospitalized in 2023 due to an unspecified medical emergency, has opened up about what happened to him in a new comedy special coming to Netflix.

The show was taped over three nights in Atlanta earlier this month. A debut date on the streamer has not yet been announced.

In one impromptu interview with CBS’s Gayle King after one of the shows, the Ray actor spoke about revealing his personal struggles while trying to make people laugh.

“It was an excruciating time opening those wounds every day,” the entertainer said of preparing for the special titled What Happened Was.

“We have a great show in the room, but we don’t know what they might be laughing about, or what they might not be laughing about.”

‘When you do a stand-up special, you usually go out for a year and work on every nook and cranny, and then you record it. You don’t just show up in Atlanta and turn on the camera,” he explained.

King, who saw the set, told him, “I’ve never seen a show where the audience is laughing and crying at the same time,” adding, “Only you could have done that.”

“It’s a personal journey,” the funny man replied, “and I hope I never have to go through this again.” I’m never going to experience this again. My next jokes start with, “Knock, knock! I’ll be making ‘Knock, knock’ jokes for an hour and a half,” he told his laughing crew backstage after the show.

The star, who had poured glasses of champagne to celebrate the end of the run, raised a glass and said: “Let’s sit back, watch it and build a newer, better and healthier future.”
