Big Brother fans slam Marcello for claiming he ‘kissed’ Ali in the smoking area and demand producers step in
Big Brother fans have criticized Marcello for claiming he shared a ‘kiss’ with Ali in the smoking area.
When the pair returned from their shared smoke break, Marcello, 34, shouted at the other housemates that he was kissing Ali, 38, who is a lesbian.
However, Big Brother added the footage of them vaping to make it clear to viewers that nothing was actually happening.
ITV2 viewers were furious after seeing the scene unfold, even demanding that producers step in and speak to Marcello about his behaviour.
One wrote on X: ‘Is Big Brother going to step in and warn Marcello’s behavior? It’s going to be awkward’;

‘Doesn’t Marcello know Ali is a lesbian?’; ‘What’s Marcello doing? Kissing like he was doing Ali in there? that’s not right’
‘I think Big Brother should remove Marcello, he is clearly a danger to the female housemates’
It comes after fans were angry at Marcello for ‘treating the show like Love Island’ and ‘sexualising every conversation with women’, following Friday’s episode of the ITV series.
The youth mentor from East London has raised eyebrows after setting his sights on several women and flirting with the female housemates.
In previous episodes, he spoke to Big Brother about his ‘love of women’ and listed who he finds attractive in the house, declaring that he is ‘probably going to shut up’ Ali, who is a lesbian.
Friday’s episode saw Marcello’s brash nature intensify, leaving some fans of the show unimpressed.
In one scene he told Rosie she looked “very beautiful” and asked if she had ever been a model.
She later joked, “Marcello – Sarah and I had a discussion and we said we could easily take you down, one person, in a fight, because I would wrap you around your neck like a mongoose and strangle you.”
However, the conversation took a turn when he replied, “That would just turn me on.”

In dramatic scenes, Big Brother told 28-year-old Ryan that his time on the show was coming to an end after just a week.
Meanwhile, Rosie Williams, Dean Smith and Nathan King survived the public vote and made it to another week.
Presenter AJ Odudu told the contestants for the first time in this series: “The viewers have spoken, we can now reveal that Ryan is the first housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother house.”
Ryan put on a brave face and hugged his housemates, telling them: “It’s all good, just keep smashing it.”
He then told AJ and Will, “To be fair, but someone has to go first.”
In response to the series’ first live eviction, fans took to X to share their thoughts on whether the right housemate got the boot, writing:
‘I’m just saying Ryan was robbed, he should never have been evicted #BBUK’
“No, Ryan was the perfect person for this deportation. We couldn’t turn off Baked Potato, Dean and Nathan who all provide good content and good people #Bbuk #Bbll’
On Friday’s show, Ryan Bradshaw became the first housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother house
“#BigBrother I’m not surprised Ryan was deported. He’s a nice man. But apart from the task of exploding the pie and stealing a sausage, he was boring and didn’t do enough that was memorable.’
“Unfortunate Ryan, I feel like you’ve been giving it a hard time time and time again. You definitely have more to offer than some of the others in there.”
“Ryan is boring. This was the right decision. #BBUK’
‘Yes, just called. His VT hurt his chances with many viewers and he just wasn’t entertaining enough to change people’s opinions of him. Right decision imo #BBUK’
The public had been voting for the housemate they wanted to see go since the four people in the firing line were announced.
Until Tuesday, the house was divided into two groups: housemates and non-housemates.
The non-housemates faced a series of challenges in an attempt to gain a place in the house.
AJ and Will took the stage again outside the famous Big Brother house to announce the first eviction
The mutual fights gave non-housemates the opportunity to prove that they are a better housemate than one of their housemates.
Those who won entered the house as housemates and no longer faced eviction, while their rivals went to the storage room and became non-housemates.
Once all the challenges were completed, Dean, Nathan, Ryan and Rosie were left vulnerable and faced with the public vote.
But next week it will be up to the housemates to decide who will face the second eviction as they are nominating for the first time.
Big Brother continues on Sunday at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
