Baseball star Trevor Bauer ‘sues sexual assault accuser Lindsey Hill for breaking terms of settlement’

Baseball star Trevor Bauer is once again suing sex abuse accuser Lindsey Hill, with the former Dodgers pitcher now claiming she violated the terms of their 2023 resolution.

In that settlement, which followed Hill’s claims that Bauer beat her, choked her unconscious and sodomized her without her consent, both parties agreed not to exchange money — and not to say anything to the contrary in public.

However, Hill wrote on X in June that she was paid $300,000 to end the legal battle between them, and Bauer reportedly filed a lawsuit against her this week. TMZ.

In total, Bauer reportedly cited 21 social media posts — as well as a podcast appearance — in which she claimed to have been paid. DailyMail.com has contacted Bauer’s lawyers for comment but has not yet received a response.

Bauer, who was suspended 194 games by MLB and has not played in the league since being accused of sexual assault by a total of four women, said in the documents that Hill did receive $300,000 in insurance policy proceeds, but that he believes the payment to be part of her father’s policies.

He is now seeking $10,000 for each alleged violation – for a total of $220,000 in damages, in addition to attorneys’ fees.

Bauer and Hill have both admitted to consensual sex in 2021, though Hill claims the pitcher went overboard and sexually assaulted her.

Bauer was never charged in the case — or at least, as three other women accused him of sexual assault — and in October 2023, he and Hill settled their respective defamation lawsuits against each other.

However, the league investigated Bauer in 2022 over some of the claims and a neutral third-party arbitrator upheld his suspension for a violation of MLB’s Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Policy.

Bauer said in August that MLB pressured teams not to sign him after his suspension.

“One team told us it’s not their decision, it’s an MLB decision,” Bauer wrote on X on Monday in a conversation with Cincinnati Reds fans.

MLB disagrees with Bauer’s claim.

When reached for comment by DailyMail.com, a league spokesperson shared a previously released statement about the pitcher: “Trevor Bauer has served his entire discipline and is an unrestricted free agent available to sign a contract with any team whatsoever.’

He was released by the Los Angeles Dodgers in January 2023 after serving his suspension.

Although Bauer maintains his innocence, he has admitted “mistakes” in his personal life and insists he no longer has “casual sexual relationships.”

An Arizona woman was also indicted by a Maricopa County grand jury on fraud and racketeering charges involving Bauer and another man, although the exact charges remain unclear.

That woman, Darcy Adanna Esemonu, was indicted in March on charges that she “knowingly obtained a benefit from Marco Bresciant and Trevor Anthony Bauer, through fraudulent pretenses, representations, promises or material omissions,” according to the indictment against her . DailyMail.com.

Esemonu faces up to 16 years in prison if convicted on all charges.

Bauer has pitched in Japan and – most recently – Mexico since being released by the Dodgers.
