Olivia Rodrigo has followed in Katy Perry’s footsteps by visiting a famous Melbourne star during her tour of Australia.
Katy, 39, first created a viral moment when she visited Melbourne’s Sea Life Aquarium to visit internet superstar Pesto the penguin.
Now Olivia, 21, has had her own audience with the King Penguin, who has become famous for growing at an impressive 23kg and eating 25 fish a day, with videos of him having been viewed millions of times.
The pop star took to Instagram on Friday to share photos and videos of her visit to the now-viral seabird as Pesto nabbed yet another famous fan.
Dressed in snow gear and goggles, Olivia – who is currently Down Under for her Guts world tour – looked thrilled to meet the famous penguin in a sweet moment.
She also shared a video of herself smiling and showing the peace sign as nine-month-old Pesto – who stands a whopping 3 feet tall – stood next to her.
Olivia is currently in Melbourne for her Guts tour and has already performed two epic shows at Rod Laver Arena, with two more shows on Sunday and Monday.
She will then perform at four sold-out shows at the Qudos Bank Arena on October 17, 18, 21 and 22 in front of thousands of enthusiastic fans who have secured tickets.

Her visit to see Pesto comes just weeks after Firework hitmaker Katy helped boost the Penguin’s viral fame when she visited ahead of her headlining performance at last month’s AFL Grand Final.
Sharing photos of the encounter on social media, Katy was all smiles as she gushed over Pesto and entertained him by blowing some bubbles into his enclosure.
‘Visited Pesto last night. He told me who will win tomorrow in the AFL grand final but my lips are sealed,” Katy joked in a clip she shared on her social media.
Many of Katy’s followers quickly took to the comments section to express their appreciation for the adorable images.
‘In any case, Pesto wishes you the best of luck for the big performance tomorrow!’ wrote Sea Life Aquarium, and another fan added, “The best thing on the internet.”
Meanwhile, comedian Rove McManus had some fun at Katy’s expense when he visited the popular penguin not long after the global music star.
During an episode of The Project, Rove visited Pesto to ask how the famous I Kissed a Girl singer was “really nice.”

The comedian, 50, could barely keep a straight face during the joke part as he tried to ‘interview’ the penguin one-on-one.
Not surprisingly, the furry creature seemed disinterested in light of Rove’s “hard” questions about Katy and their recent encounter.
“Pesto, Rove McManus from the Project,” he began.
“I wonder how all this fame has affected you as a baby penguin.”
He continued, “What’s Katy Perry like?”
Unfortunately for Rove, Pesto kept wandering off to join his friends in the enclosure, but the star remained: “Has fame gone to your head Pesto?”
Finally, Rove became confrontational, adding, “What do you say about the rumors about you and Katy Perry? So you don’t hide it or deny it.’
The best Pesto could do in response was a disinterested screech in the amusing segment.

He eats four times a day, and one meal consists of eight fish. His size has made him an internet star worldwide, with videos of the big chick viewed by billions of people.
