Delta Goodrem has revealed how she is still grieving the loss of her close friend, Olivia Newton-John.
The singer, 37, narrates this week’s song from Stellar Magazine that she has not yet come to terms with the superstar’s passing in August.
“It is a big change in my life to lose a dear friend and mentor. I think we all feel it,” Delta said.

‘And [as for] Olivia, I will continue to share her light and her important health and wellness mission. That’s important,” she continues.
“I’ve always shared my love for Olivia, and this won’t change. It’s definitely been a big change in my life…I’m still processing it.”
Delta made the comments in an interview alongside a gorgeous high fashion shoot in the magazine.
The 37-year-old singer says in this week’s issue of Stellar Magazine that she has not yet processed the death of the superstar in August. The couple was pictured together in Hollywood in 2019
The Lost Without You singer played the famous Aussie icon in the 2018 TV miniseries, Olivia Newton-John: Hopelessly Devoted to You.
Heartbroken Delta paid tribute to her beloved “mentor and friend” Olivia earlier this year following the Grease star’s death at the age of 73 following a protracted battle with cancer.
Delta shared photos of herself hugging Olivia in happier times, saying she was “like family” to her.
“It is a big change in my life to lose a dear friend and mentor. I think we all feel it,” said Delta
“I’ve always shared my love for Olivia, and this won’t change. It’s definitely been a big change in my life…I’m still processing it,” she added

“I love you forever,” Delta wrote in her touching post. “The whole world will feel this heartbreak today because the whole world felt Olivia’s unparalleled light. A force for good. A force of nature. Strong and friendly.’
“My mentor, my friend, my inspiration, someone who always guided me… she was always there for me. Family to me.’
She added: “I don’t have all the words I would like to say today, but I hope everyone will participate in celebrating our beloved Olivia, her heart, soul, talent, courage, grace…I will forever love of you.’

The pair bonded after their respective battles with cancer – Delta was diagnosed with Hodgkins lymphoma at age 18 and Olivia had been battling stage four metastatic breast cancer for years.
Delta and Olivia were close and recorded several songs together.

Olivia’s state funeral will take place in Melbourne in early December at one of her favorite places – the Royal Botanic Gardens.
Olivia passed away in August after a brave and public decades-long battle with cancer, being diagnosed three times in 1992, 2013, and, most recently, in 2017.
