Toni Vaz dead at 101: Trailblazing stuntwoman founded NAACP Image Awards

Toni Vaz, the actress turned groundbreaking stuntwoman, has died at the age of 101.

She died Oct. 4 at the Motion Picture Fund campus in Woodland Hills, according to a news release issued Friday.

Her cause of death was not immediately available.

Vaz was also known for founding the NAACP Image Awards, which were first presented in 1967.
