Chelsea duo Enzo Maresca and Cole Palmer have won Premier League trophies for their performances in September.
Maresca was named Manager of the Month after leading Blues to wins over Bournemouth, West Ham and Brighton following a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.
Palmer was announced as the Premier League’s latest Player of the Month on Friday. The 22-year-old scored an assist and five goals in September, including a stunning performance in the 4-2 win against Brighton in which he found the net four times.
Maresca is the first Chelsea boss to win the Premier League’s Manager of the Month award since Thomas Tuchel in October 2021.
Meanwhile, Palmer has now won two Player of the Month awards in 2024, having previously been recognized for his standout performances in April.

Maresca paid tribute to his team of backroom staff after learning of his individual award.
“We’ve had a really good month,” said the former Leicester boss.
‘We all need people around us to make things better. I’m very grateful to have them all.
‘We are always looking at new things and how we can improve from different football and different countries.’
Palmer received his Player of the Month award in September while on international duty with England.
It was his second accolade of the week, having previously been confirmed as England Men’s Player of the Year.

But Palmer and his international teammates had a night to forget on Thursday as they lost 2-1 to Greece at Wembley in the UEFA Nations League.
Palmer played the full 90 minutes but failed to produce a positive result despite making 88 touches – more than any other player apart from defender Levi Colwill.
