The Hollywood Reporter unveils ‘Creator A list’ and it’s filled with influencers and TikTokers – but everyone is saying the same thing
A list of the hottest names currently working in media has baffled many who have laid eyes on it.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, this is the first ever ‘A-list creator’ includes ‘stunningly talented TikTokers’ and ‘Instagram stars we can’t look away from’ – but those who spied the selection of 50 social media movers and shakers say they’ve ‘never heard of most of them’.
The list is described by the magazine as ‘New Fame’ and includes writers, comedians, make-up artists, producers, interviewers and fashionistas with one thing in common: they are all also called ‘influencers’, who ply their trade on TikTok. , Instagram and other social media landscapes, often with millions of followers hanging on every word.

Despite the hype – and last night’s glamorous West Hollywood party to officially announce the list, there was a more muted reaction elsewhere.
The reaction on Twitter was almost universally one of questions, with most people saying they didn’t recognize anyone, or very few people on the Creator A-List.
One wrote: ‘I literally recognize one in 21 people…’
Another added: ‘I must be this old. who are these people.’
An annoyed X user wrote: ‘Boy you gotta be kidding me! WHO are these people?’
Others were a little more enlightened. One wrote: “I know the guys from The Good Mythical Morning, and Kai Cenat hasn’t heard of anyone else here.”

The concept is simple: Amelia, 30, who is known for her clumsy and deadpan humour, takes stars on ‘dates’ to chicken shops in London.
When she started at the age of 17, she took out ‘friends of friends’, mostly unknown grime artists, and wrote about it in a column for youth magazine The Cut.
But she has since ventured beyond grime stars, with Ed Sheeran, Lionnesses Lucy Bronze and Beth Mead, Matty Healy and Paul Mescal among her recent guests.
She has now had 500,00,000 views, with A-listers such as Drake publicly stating that they want to appear on the show.
