Liza Minnelli, 78, puts on a very animated display as she poses at the 10th annual Gala of the Stars event amid her Lifetime Achievement Award
Liza Minnelli was in very good spirits on Wednesday night as she attended the 10th annual Gala of the Stars event at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills.
The stage and screen icon, 78, smiled and tilted her head back in joy as she posed on a chair at the star-studded bash, where she received a Lifetime Achievement Award for her lasting impact on the world of entertainment.
The event honors dance legends and supports Dancers Against Cancer.
Liza certainly had a blast as she walked around backstage at the glitzy event, with the star looking remarkably well after previously raising concerns about her health after being confined to a wheelchair.
However, her health seemed much improved as she dressed to impress on the evening, with the Cabaret star donning a sparkling black shirt, teamed with black velvet trousers and black ankle boots.

While singer JoJo, 21, opted for a head-to-toe Gucci look, wearing a black and silver tracksuit with the Italian brand’s logo.

Its core mission is to provide financial support to people in the dance community who are dealing with cancer.

Liza’s apparition comes after her announced in August that she is writing a memoir — after feeling “crazy” about the previous portrayals of her life story and her “sabotaged appearance at the Oscars‘ next to Lady Gaga.
The stage and screen legend previously claimed she would never publish an autobiography with the line: ‘Just tell me when I’m gone!’
However, she changed her mind after becoming enraged by the inaccurate portrayals of her own life and that of her late mother Judy Garland.
Now she’s teaming up with two professional writers to put her memories between the covers, reflecting on the experience of being raised in Hollywood by Judy and famed director Vincente Minnelli.

She will also reflect on her glittering career, including her Oscar-winning performance in Cabaret, and open up about the saga of her four failed marriages and her battle with drug addiction, according to People.
Liza is co-authoring the book with Pulitzer-winning journalist Heidi Evans and Josh Getlin, the former New York bureau chief of the Los Angeles Times.
She also enlisted the help of her longtime good friend Michael Feinstein, a song and dance man who has collaborated with her several times over the years.
The book is scheduled for publication in spring 2026, accompanied by an audio version containing archive material from the past 15 years that has never been made public.
