Billionaire Francesca Packer sells her luxury Sydney apartment for a whopping $30m after buying it for half the price when she was just 24
Francesca Packer has finally unloaded her amazing Sydney apartment after first listing the luxury apartment almost a year ago.
The 29-year-old billionaire heiress reportedly pocketed $30 million in the sale after purchasing the five-bedroom condo in 2019 for $16.75 million.
Located in Darlinghurst, 2km from the CBD, the penthouse occupies the entire floor of the prestigious Horizon building and offers spectacular views of the city skyline.
Francesca first put the luxury apartment on the market in November 2023 for an eye-watering $32 million.
But after seven months on the market, the beautifully appointed apartment was put back on the market in June for $30 million.
The broker involved in the sale did not want to confirm the purchase, the newspaper reports Wentworth courier on Thursday.
However, real estate insiders told the publication that Francesca’s apartment recently went under the hammer to a local buyer for ‘close’ to the asking price.
According to the report, the cashed-up heiress sold the property because she wanted to spend more time in her alternative home base of London.

Meanwhile, Ny Breaking Australia has learned that Francesca’s boyfriend Robert Bates, 44, occupied the flat while the heiress was on holiday abroad.
Designed by renowned Australian-Austrian architect Harry Seidler, the apartment features five bathrooms, Cote D’Azure marble and a balcony with 360-degree views of Sydney’s famous harbour.
The penthouse is located on the 40th floor of the luxury apartment building and features a private lobby, marble sourced from Brazil, French oak herringbone parquet, custom lighting and brass and leather accents.

There is a wine room and ‘wet bar’, while the apartment complex also includes a swimming pool, tennis court, gym, barbecue area and landscaped gardens.
It comes after Francesca recently jetted off on a luxury European yacht trip with her boyfriend Robert.
The billionaire heiress, the daughter of investor Gretel Packer and financier Nick Barham, was reportedly spotted arriving at a port in Corfu, Greece, in July.
During their romantic European summer trip, Francesca and Robert sailed from the Italian port city of Napoli to the Greek island, according to the Daily Telegraph.
The couple are said to be traveling on Francesca’s mother Gretel’s superyacht, the Arctic P, which is valued at a whopping $119 million.

The extravagant German-built 87-metre ship was launched in 1969 and can be chartered for up to 12 guests and 25 crew.
The former expedition yacht was purchased by the Packer family in 1995 and has undergone several modifications since then.
Francesca and Robert started dating in 2022 and confirmed their romance in December that year after they were spotted kissing on the deck of a luxury yacht in Sydney Harbour.

Francesca was reportedly ‘killed’ in front of the divorced father and even ‘confided to friends her desire to start a family’ with him.
Robert is the CEO of failed wellness brands Aurum+ and Aquamamma and the founder of 7 Trinity Biotech.
Francesca is the daughter of Australian investor Gretel Packer and the granddaughter of the late media mogul Kerry Packer.
Her uncle is Australian billionaire James Packer, the former owner and chairman of the high-profile Crown Resorts.
