Jason Kelce jokingly takes credit for brother Travis’ return to form in Chiefs win over Saints
Both Kelce brothers showed up to work at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday night – with one playing in the game and the other watching as a commentator.
But despite the need to be impartial, Jason Kelce knew he was a good luck charm for his younger brother Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Reflecting on the game on the latest episode of their New Heights podcast, Jason joked about being at the game while working for ESPN – with the build-up suggesting he was talking about his younger brother’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
Calling himself “Primetime Big Yeti,” Jason added, “As we all know, Travis came up big – because he had someone special in the stadium, someone who means a lot to him, and he really always tries to act like they want that. am there. And that’s me!’

Monday was the first time Jason was on the Monday Night Football panel for a Chiefs game and a game in which Travis played.
Last season, Jason played as a Philadelphia Eagle on the road against the Chiefs and won the final game on the field against his brother.
Speaking about Travis’ form so far this season, which had come in for a lot of criticism ahead of Monday night’s match, Jason said: ‘Now he’s enjoying his life very publicly.
“Everything he does and everything, basically our family, is very much out there and that’s just the nature of the way it is now.
“I think Trav has been very healthy throughout his career. This is a man who has always found a way to appear in top form.
“And I know he’s optically everywhere, and that’s not unfair to reality, but he still retains the most important thing. Football has always been the most important thing in Trav’s life.
‘He always lived his life to the fullest. He really enjoyed his offseasons, even before Taylor Swift and everything else that was happening in our lives. And I think he will always find a way to make football the No. 1 priority when it comes to preparation.

After the game, photos emerged of Travis and Taylor belatedly celebrating his birthday at a bar in Kansas City.
The next day, Travis was seen holding Taylor as they boarded a Gulfstream jet headed to the East Coast.
Monday Night may be one of the last times in a long time that Swift will be able to see Travis play as she heads out for the final five stops of her global “Eras Tour.”
