Jonathan Ross clung to his wife Jane Goldman as the couple posed at the Smile 2 UK screening at the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square on Tuesday evening.

The screenwriter and producer, 54, looked sensational as the pair matched in all-black outfits at the event in London.

Comedian and presenter Jonathan, 63, and Jane have been married since 1988 and share children Honey, Harvey and Betty.

Jane looked stylish in a black dress with a striped top underneath and layered with a gray denim jacket.

She wore her long blonde locks in loose waves and opted for a low-key makeup look as she posed with Jonathan.

Jonathan wore a black dress coat and orange tinted glasses as he affectionately wrapped his arm around his wife.

It comes after Jonathan recently revealed that he and his wife Jane shower less than once a week – because he feels all the grooming is a waste of precious time.

Jonathan said that he and his wife were like a bunch of dirty ‘hamsters’, and that he is ‘resentful’ about having to wash regularly.

He said, “Do you think I pay enough attention to anything to spend extra time caring for it? I hate having to take a shower.

‘Sometimes I don’t shower for at least a week, at least. Jane does that sometimes too. We’re like a couple of hamsters in their own straw in that bed.’

Speaking about the Podcast for the hell of parentinghe said he didn’t shower the morning of the interview after comedian Josh Widdicombe asked him when he last showered.

Jonathan said he hadn’t done anything to break a sweat, saying, “It was yesterday. Why would you do it two days in a row, what’s wrong with you? I haven’t exercised.’

He even confessed that he once didn’t wash for two weeks in the Florida heat because he thought he had been in a pool, only to discover that he still smelled really bad.

He added: ‘When we were on holiday – we have a place in Florida – because it’s sunny and I’m jumping in and out of the pool, I probably didn’t shower properly for two weeks.’

In February, Jonathan proved he hasn’t aged a date yet in a sweet throwback photo with his unrecognizable wife Jane.

The broadcaster’s daughter, Honey, took to Instagram to post the adorable photo of her beloved parents when they were younger.

Jonathan and his loving lifelong wife looked smitten in this adorable photo dressed in ’70s attire.

Jane wore a bright orange collared dress and bold burgundy lipstick as she held hands with young Jonathan.

The comedian wore an animated leopard print shirt and tight black skinny jeans, while still sporting his signature long locks.

Last year, the couple celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary in August with a heartfelt tribute on Instagram.

Jonathan wrote a sweet message to his ‘beautiful soulmate’ as he posted an adorable photo of the couple relaxing in their London home.

The TV personality looked adoringly at his wife of 35 years as she smiled at the camera, with a lush bouquet of flowers on the table behind them.

The Masked Singer judge wrote alongside the photo: ‘It’s our anniversary!! 35 wonderful years with my beautiful soulmate! On to the next 70.’

Jane is not only Jonathan’s wife of 35 years, but also a woman of many talents, as she works as a screenwriter, author and producer.

She has co-written screenplays for Kingsman: The Secret Service and X Men: First Class, and completed her first solo screenplay with the 2012 film The Woman In Black.

Jane met her husband-to-be when she was just 16 years old at an event when she was an aspiring showbiz journalist, and they married two years later in 1988.

Jonathan, who is almost ten years older than her, was at the beginning of his career as a talk show host when he started talking to the young journalist.

Jane said The times: ‘I met Jonathan at some sort of promotional event. He had just started his show The Last Resort. I think he only did it for two weeks.’

Jane added, “I can’t remember what we talked about. I wish I could. Honey always asks me that, but I really can’t remember.

‘I think I invited him to something else, hoping to see him again. Maybe I was less socially awkward then.’

Despite not remembering their first conversation, Jane recalled that the couple bonded over their love of American pop culture, science fiction and horror films.

For Jonathan there is only one leading lady in his life and that will never change.

He previously said: ‘Jane is my ideal, whatever she is. We grew up together and I become more and more passionate about her as the years go by. For me it has always been Jane and always will be.”
