Lance Bass throws *NSYNC-inspired party to celebrate his twins Violet and Alexander’s third birthday
Lance Bass celebrated the third birthday of his twins Violet and Alexander on Tuesday.
The *NSYNC member, 45, and his husband Michael Turchin hosted a birthday party inspired by his boy band days before their children’s birthday on October 13.
He shared sweet family photos on Instagram of him, his actor husband, 37, and their children posing in front of an “It’s Gonna Be Three” birthday banner, which played to *NSYNC’s 2000 hit It’s Gonna Be Me.
Both children had their own personalized birthday cakes, which Bass said were made for “two happy toddlers.”
The singer — who recently dissed Sean “Diddy” Combs when he revealed he once overheard the music mogul urging Justin Timberlake to “drop” *NSYNC and “go solo” — wrote in his caption, “It’s Gonna Be THRAYY! !’

The family of four posed in front of a teal birthday cake for Violet and a red one for Alexander, both designed after Tile Town playsets from Moose Toys.
Bass and his husband as well as their two children had cake frosting on their noses and bright smiles on their faces.
Later, the proud dads opened birthday presents with their adorable children.
The longtime couple – who have been married since 2014 – welcomed their two children via a surrogate in 2021.
Bass shared the exciting news on Instagram when their twins were born.
“The baby dragons have arrived!” the singer wrote at the time. ‘I can’t express how much love I feel right now. Thank you for all the kind wishes. It meant a lot. How do you change a diaper??!”

In June, Bass shared a sweet video of him and his husband’s daughter, Violet, watching *NSYNC on TV.
In the clip, Bass said his kids were fans of *NSYNC’s hit Bye Bye Bye and told them to “watch it 14 times a day.”
Last month, Bass also shared that he has a desire to expand his family.
“I’m definitely getting baby fever again,” he said Newsweek end of September.
“The kids are so much fun now,” he said. “They’re almost three, and they feel like they’re thirteen.”

Bass added that his children become bolder as they get older.
‘They say very clearly what they like and what they don’t like, and they start talking back. I’m like, “Uh oh!” So you know, I miss that little nugget you hold that can’t really talk to you.”
“And you know what, I’m just trying to convince my husband to at least have one more. But we still have a lot to do in the coming year, so we’ll see if we can have that conversation and convince him.”
