KENNEDY: I watched FEAR creep across Kamala’s face during her trainwreck ’60 Minutes’ interview – but it was one horrific mistake that truly cost her everything
Look closely. You can see the creeping panic behind Kamala’s eyes in her “60 Minutes” interview.
With four weeks to go until the election, our wannabe commander-in-chief finally showed up for a big-girl interview on Monday night, after months of avoiding any real scrutiny.
It didn’t take long for her to realize that the vibrations alone couldn’t carry her through this.
So far, our Madame VP has been treated to the journalistic equivalent of a spa day.
In August, CNN’s Dana Bash applied a beautiful mud mask to all her flaws and emotional support dog Tim Walz. ABC News debate moderators helped pluck out the ugly stray hairs last month. And weeks later, MSNBC’s Stephanie Drool cleaned Kamala up with a slobbery tongue bath.
But apparently veteran journalist Bill Whitaker doesn’t do back massages.
From the start, he took a swipe at Kamala’s progressive underbelly.
‘[America supplies] Israel with billions of dollars in military aid, and yet [Israeli] Prime Minister Netanyahu seems to be following his own course… Does the US have no influence on Prime Minister Netanyahu?’ Whitaker asked.
It was on.

Kamala versus a real question.
“The work we do diplomatically with Israel’s leadership is an ongoing effort to make our principles clear,” she responded.
Hey? It was one of her more convincing responses.
Whitaker urged her to call Trump “racist,” even as the former president enjoys the unwavering — sometimes fanatical — support of millions of Americans.
How is that possible, Whitaker asked. Does Harris believe Trump voters are racists too, he suggested?
Kamala – who also once smeared Joe Biden for supporting a discriminatory bus policy as a senator – looked for an answer.
“I believe the American people recognize that the true measure of a leader’s strength is not based on who you put down, but on who you lift up.”
Like how Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff allegedly punched a woman in public and admittedly pulled up the family nanny’s dress before allegedly getting her pregnant?
I got it.
“The work we do diplomatically with Israel’s leadership is an ongoing effort to make our principles clear,” she responded. Hey? It was one of her more convincing responses.

On the economics front, Whitaker challenged the Veep to explain how she would pay for her proposals to increase the child tax credit, giveaways to first-time homebuyers and large handouts to small business owners.
“When you invest in small businesses, you invest in the middle class and you strengthen the American economy. Small businesses are the backbone of the American economy,” she barked.
Backbone. Right. We’ve only heard that one 748,000 times.
HOW WILL YOU PAY FOR IT?
Bill, thank God, kept insisting, “How are you going to get this through Congress?”
Her secret to her success is apparently whispering legislation.
“If you talk calmly to a lot of people in Congress, they know exactly what I’m talking about,” Harris said. “Because their voters know exactly what I’m talking about.”
I’m a voter and I don’t know what she’s talking about?
At the time, Kamala looked drunk, but her “60 Minutes” interlocutor was just starting to warm up.
Whitaker: Your critics and the columnists say… the reason so many voters don’t know you is because you’ve changed your position… You supported a looser immigration policy, but now you’re tightening it. You were for Medicare for all, not anymore.
The fear flashed across Kamala’s face. And when she starts kicking deep yogurt, the incomprehensible nonsense starts flowing.
Harris: We are a diverse people. Geographically, regionally, in terms of where we are in our backgrounds. What the American people do want is for us to have leaders who can build consensus…that’s been my approach.
Is that what the ‘American people’ want? Spineless, rudderless politicians who harbor no core beliefs?
The wheels fell off the vibe bus, but Harris really hit a potentially crippling moment for the candidacy when he was asked why she and President Jell-O Mold stood by as the border crisis exploded.
Whitaker: There was a historic flood of undocumented immigrants crossing the border during the first three years of your administration… Was it a mistake to have relaxed immigration policies as you did?
At the time, Kamala looked drunk, but her “60 Minutes” interlocutor was just starting to warm up.
Kamala zigzagged. Bill asked again.
Whitaker: What I was asking was, was it a mistake to allow that flood to happen in the first place?
Kamala saw.
Whitaker: The [illegal immigration] numbers quadrupled under your watch. Should you have done that?
Harris: We need Congress to take action to actually solve the problem.
Thing, ding, ding. Throw in the towel. Technical knockout.
Less than 28 days until the 2024 vote, Kamala Harris cannot formulate a coherent response to one of the election’s most critical issues.
Although at least she showed up in her defense. President Trump dared to return to the site of his assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, last weekend, but he reportedly pulled out of a sitdown with 60 Minutes.
This may have been the candidates’ last chance to reach a national audience before voters pull their buttons in November.
Trump was a no show. And Harris was a no-brainer.
Good luck, America.
