Diddy’s key to Miami Beach to be rescinded by the city following disgraced rapper’s arrest and sex trafficking indictment

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs has his key to Miami Beach revoked and repossessed by the city.

At an unspecified future date, the Florida city will revoke the honor and revoke the ceremonial key they gave the disgraced rapper, 54, in October 2015.

This comes after the music mogul’s arrest, sex trafficking charges and growing number of allegations against him.

A few months earlier, Combs was also asked to return the key to New York to the city.

He also previously received the ceremonial key of Chicago, but it is unclear whether the Windy City has also followed suit by revoking the honor.

Miami city officials are in final negotiations to have the key revoked soon, but the exact day the change will be completed has not yet been confirmed due to Hurricane Milton. per TMZ.

The storm is expected to hit Florida on Wednesday, and insiders told the newspaper that is why the repeal has been postponed.

In 2015, former mayor Philip Levine presented the city’s honorary key to Combs during the Revolt Music Conference in Fontainebleau in the vibrant city.

The city has also awarded keys to the city to other Hollywood stars, including Combs’ ex, Jennifer Lopez.

This comes shortly after Combs returned the Key to the City to New York City in June after Mayor Eric Adams requested it in a letter.

In his letter, he asked for the key to be recovered after the release of a video showing Combs attacking his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura, on hotel surveillance footage and the ensuing controversy.

The mayor sent the controversial rapper a letter in which he stated that he stood by survivors of domestic violence.

He also noted that the Key to the City is awarded to model citizens and said Combs no longer met the selection criteria.

Disturbing images of the Big Apple’s Democratic leader, who is currently facing criminal charges himself, handing Combs the key resurfaced last month — almost exactly a year after he handed the ceremonial honor to the rapper.

Combs also previously received Chicago’s Key to the City in October 2006, which he received from former Mayor Richard Daley.

Combs is currently in jail after being arrested in New York City last month.

He is facing sex trafficking charges and is awaiting his upcoming trial. He also faces more than 100 allegations of sexual misconduct.

Less than a week earlier, an attorney announced he is representing 120 accusers who have made allegations of sexual misconduct against the hip-hop mogul.

Houston attorney Tony Buzbee said he expects lawsuits to be filed within the next month, with most expected to be filed in New York and Los Angeles.

Buzbee described the victims as 60 men and 60 women, and that 25 were minors at the time of the alleged misconduct.

One person claimed he was only nine years old when he was abused, Buzbee said. The allegations cover a period from 1991 to this year.

“This type of sexual assault, sexual abuse, and sexual exploitation should never happen in the United States or anywhere else. This should never have gone on for so long. This behavior has left a mass of individuals injured, scared and scarred,” Buzbee said at a news conference.
