Brian To’o enjoys HUGE breakfast of champions after Penrith star shocked team-mates with pre-Grand Final nutrition routine
Brain To’o shocked fans and some of his teammates last week after revealing the insane pre-Grand Final breakfast he was going to eat, causing Penrith’s club nutritionist to have a meltdown.
The Panthers winger impressed in Sunday’s 14-6 win over Melbourne.
Although he was not on the scoresheet during the match, he showed his courage and resilience to get back on the pitch after a nasty knee injury in the 60th minute. But even with that hit, To’o still managed 186 yards carrying during the game.
However, To’o is known for his love of junk food and last week spoke about how some of his teammates are reacting to his insane diet.
The 26-year-old revealed last week he planned to have a large tub of chips with aioli, two breakfast burgers and six Coke Zeros for breakfast to fuel him up for the NRL showpiece.
“My breakfast always makes people weird,” he told News Corp.
‘They think there’s something wrong with me, but it’s all good. It will be the same this week.”
And it seems there is a method behind this madness, with To’o starring in helping the Panthers achieve their fourth straight premiership win, while his amazing breakfast seems to fuel his bulldozer runs.
Following the victory, the celebrations continued well into the night as Ivan Cleary’s side cemented their names in rugby league immortality.
To’o had also received a crown on the field from his wife, with his nickname ‘BIZZA’ on the front.
The players showed off their Grand Final rings in the sheds before being taken by bus to the club grounds in the early hours of the morning.
On Monday, To’o posted a clip to his Instagram account of himself once again enjoying his legendary breakfast, tucking into two huge breakfast burgers, a plate of chips and six Coke Zeros.

He captioned the video: ‘Two breakie burgers, cup of fries, six coke zeros, caramel lattes, two sugars extra syrup. Don’t mention it.’
Speaking about his teammate’s diet, Nathan Cleary praised the To’o, saying: ‘His diet is the most unique I have ever seen for a rugby league player.’
“I’ve never seen anyone eat four cans of Coke and ten hash browns for breakfast on game day.
‘He’s succeeding and he’s still a beast on the pitch, so back him up.’
