Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers in weather delay as thunderstorms disrupt Sunday Night Football

Sunday Night Football was postponed indefinitely as thunderstorms moved through Pittsburgh for the Steelers game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Originally scheduled to start at 8:20 PM ET, the match was postponed “until further notice” due to storms in the area.

A message on screens at Acrisure Stadium told fans they could remain in their seats while the players waited in the locker room for an update on the start time.

The city itself is under a severe thunderstorm warning in Pennsylvania. Heavy rain also fell on the stadium.

The showdown will see Dak Prescott and the Cowboys (2-2) take on Justin Fields and his team, who have a 3-1 lead heading into their Week 5 showdown.

Prescott, Fields and their respective teams had been on the field warming up when the postponement was announced.
