Simon Baker was busy at work on Wednesday as he packed up from his $6 million home in Sydney’s Bondi.
The Mentalist star, 55, was spotted supervising movers as they loaded items including mattresses and household items into the back of a truck.
Simon wore a simple blue T-shirt, champagne pink shorts, a white cap and green Birkenstock slippers as he instructed the movers.
The name of the company, Ballina Movers, suggests the actor could move permanently to his home in northern New South Wales.
The town of Ballina is close to the small community of Nashua, where Simon maintains a shelter he bought for $2.9 million.
Simon joins a host of Australian stars who have moved north from Sydney.
Chris Hemsworth and his wife Elsa Pataky live in Byron Bay, while Russell Crowe has an estate near Coffs Harbour.

But while Simon may be making a change in the celebrity boom, there is no confirmation yet that he will be selling his luxury Bondi pad.
Last month, Simon narrowly avoided a drink-driving charge after he was caught drink-driving near his home in northern NSW.
The court was told that officers were unable to carry out a blood alcohol test due to the then global Microsoft outage.
Simon remained silent as he left Mullumbimby Local Court in the company of his lawyer, Peggy Dwyer.

The award-winning actor pleaded guilty to a single charge of driving a vehicle under the influence of alcohol during an earlier court appearance.
Another charge of attempted driving under the influence of alcohol was dropped on the same date.
Baker faced a maximum sentence of 30 penalty units or 18 months in prison, or both, Magistrate Kathy Crittenden said.
But the Hollywood star instead left court on a parole order, requiring him to be of good behavior for nine months.
No conviction was recorded.
