Russell Brand reveals P Diddy took him on an ‘enforced’ holiday and says it’s hard to ‘say no’ to rapper in resurfaced 2010 interview

Russell Brand previously revealed he was taken on a ‘forced’ holiday by Sean Combs.

In a resurfaced interview on Black Ree TV in 2010, Brand said it was difficult to say “no” to the rapper known as P Diddy, whom he described as an “influential person.”

When asked what it was like working with Diddy on the film Get Him to the Creek, Brand said, “Diddy was new to me. He took care of me. He took me on a forced vacation to Vegas.

“He’s a very intense man because I think he came from nothing and now he’s very, very powerful. People who do things like that are intense.”

The comedian continued, “Now I like him. He is very influential. Suppose you don’t want to do something and Diddy wants you to do it, then it’s very difficult not to do that thing.

Brand gave examples of things someone should do at Diddy’s request, including feeding his fish and picking him up from the airport.

He added that he would feel obliged to agree to the rapper’s demands for fear of upsetting him.

He said: ‘He looks a bit like the ghost. Like he’s very influential.

‘He’s a good laugh, but… he can ask you for a lot of favors and you can’t say no to him. That’s my concern.’

‘I don’t want to be anyone’s b****. I’ve worked too hard in life. Not even Diddy’s b****,” he added.

Combs, 54, is currently awaiting trial at the Metropolitan Detention Center of Brooklyn in New York City on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.

He pleaded not guilty to all three charges and was denied bail.

The rapper allegedly coerced and manipulated victims into taking part in so-called “freak-offs,” or all-day sexual performances, while giving them drugs to keep them compliant and threatening them if they refused to comply.

Comb had been a regular visitor to Britain over the past thirty years and Comb’s alleged activities may have targeted victims in Britain.

Last year, Brand was accused of rape, sexual assault and emotional abuse as part of a joint investigation by Channel 4’s Dispatches programme, The Times and Sunday Times.

He continues to deny claims about his behavior, which allegedly occurred during the height of his fame between 2006 and 2013.

This week, Brand continued his conversion to Christianity, performing a baptism and interpreting the Bible.

The comedian himself was baptized in April and has published several posts since December 2023 discussing his relationship with religion.

In a video uploaded this week, the former Buddhist said: ‘How can we ever understand with the conscious limited mind that God himself came to earth and was sacrificed, that we may be redeemed and rise again, that we may enter the eternal be allowed to have life? with our limited consciousness that is not possible.’
