Michael Jordan has been revealed as the mystery buyer of a custom, one-off Italian sports car worth more than $2 million.
The basketball giant, who has a net worth of $3.5 billion, is the sole owner Pininfarina Battista Targamerica model in the world after it was designed by the car company.
When it was unveiled during Monterey Car Week in mid-August, the Italian brand said it had been purchased by a “renowned car collector and existing Battista owner.”
Pininfarina has now revealed Jordan as the buyer of the unique Battista Targamerica, which features an aluminum cigar holder and humidor between the front seats.
The 61-year-old is known for his love of cigars and was often spotted traveling around Europe with his wife Yvette Prieto during his summer holidays.
