Gwyneth Paltrow, 50, exudes confidence as she shares a NO MAKE-UP selfie to support her Goop brand

Gwyneth Paltrow presented a new selfie on the Instagram page of her wellness company Goop Friday morning.

The Academy Award-winning actress chose to share a makeup-free selfie to promote confidence in aging and skin care.

The star, who celebrated her milestone 50th birthday last month, donned a comfy bathrobe and snapped a close-up selfie before the start of her busy day.

The Iron Man’s alum took a quick photo as the sun began to rise and peeked through the window at dawn.

The actress chose not to wear makeup in the selfie to boost the confidence of her followers.

“The GP rarely wears makeup and we are always impressed by the way her skin looks,” the caption began to the post.

A quote from Gwyneth was then shared, in which she said she had gained a lot of confidence with her skin. “My strategy is skin care,” the mother of two explained. “I love the confidence I feel when my skin is in great shape.”

The post also shared a link to the star’s own skincare products she frequently uses, including exfoliators and hyaluronic acid serums.

In the photo, the actress donned a plush, red checkered robe as her blonde locks fell naturally straight past her shoulders.

Gwyneth has recently opened up about the process of aging and the confidence she still has despite celebrating her 50th birthday last September.

When you talk to CBS news, the talented star said when she was younger, ‘I thought, you know, 50 is like being dead in that moment!’

However, the actress revealed that she felt there should be ease and less pressure when reaching a certain age. “As a woman you turn 50 and maybe we all give ourselves permission to be exactly who we are,” she explained to the outlet.

“And we stop trying to be what other people expect of us, and you kind of breathe out into that other thing.”

Gwyneth’s popular wellness and lifestyle brand, Goop, was first launched in 2008 and the star has spent her time building the business.

During an interview with Sunday Today earlier this June, the star revealed that she doesn’t want to jump back into the entertainment industry anytime soon. Instead, she would rather put her focus on business.

“I really don’t miss it at all,” she admitted. “I think I’m so lucky to have been able to do it, and I’m sure I will one day.”

“The team is always trying to get me to make a film, but I really love what I’m doing and I love how direct it is and how… we’re able to make a product from scratch that we believe in so much.” .’
