Dave Grohl’s ‘last-ditch’ effort to win back Jordyn Blum revealed – after Foo Fighters front man was dealt an ultimatum
Dave Grohl is doing his best to remedy his Long Road to Ruin – with the rock star reportedly trying to win back his wife Jordyn Blum after he cheated on her and fathered a child with another woman.
The 55-year-old Foo Fighters frontman stunned fans when he announced his infidelity in a dramatic statement he posted to his Instagram last month.
His decision to open up was reportedly a “last-ditch” attempt to repair his 21-year marriage to 48-year-old Blum, with whom he has three daughters, after she gave him an ultimatum.
Grohl is now desperately trying to “distract his attention” and “be there for Jordyn in the daily things she wants.”
“He thinks the marriage can be saved, so why don’t we try to fix it?” an insider told DailyMail.com exclusively.

They said Blum, who admitted she hadn’t been his “number one” for years, gave the rocker one last chance to try to mend their relationship.
“She has given him an ultimatum to find out and he wants to regain her trust,” the source continued.
“He needs to focus on her, that will be his best chance to get back to what they had.” Dave focuses on her needs.”
The source added that Grohl initially chose to reveal his extramarital affair with the intention of staying with Blum.
‘Revealing [his affair and baby] first and foremost was his last ditch effort to save the marriage because Jordyn knew about it long before the world found out,” they explained.
“He’d rather stay married.”
Blum reportedly asked her musician husband to take a break from recording new music and touring so he can focus on his personal life.
Foo Fighters canceled their set at the Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, Connecticut, last weekend due to the scandal.

The insider said the musician wants to “shift his focus” to ensure all his attention is on Blum, 48.

“He can always work on them again if they get better,” the insider said. “She hasn’t felt like she’s number one for a long time.”
Grohl announced in a statement on September 10 that he had welcomed a daughter as he vowed to try to ‘get back’ [the] trust’ of his wife and their three daughters.
“I recently became the father of a new daughter, born out of wedlock,” Grohl announced to his 1.4 million followers on Instagram. “I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.
“I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We are grateful for your consideration of all the children involved as we move forward together.”
DailyMail.com previously revealed how a ‘jealous’ Grohl had criticized Blum over her relationship with her ‘hot’ tennis coach, Christopher Crabb, 54, in what insiders claimed was an attempt to detract from his own indiscretions.
