Tottenham striker Dominic Solanke is expected to be recalled to England by Lee Carsley today.
The forward has been in impressive form, scoring three goals in as many games for Ange Postecoglou’s side.
And interim head coach Carsley will include Solanke in his squad to take on Greece and Finland in the Nations League from next week.
The 27-year-old has not played for England since 2017, when he came on as a substitute in a match against Brazil.
But he is now about to get the chance to revive his international career.

Interim boss Carsley has made another bold decision as he prepares to name his second squad
Solanke will be rewarded for his success at Spurs following his £65million summer move from Bournemouth.
He endured a difficult debut as he missed a number of chances in a 1–1 draw against Leicester and suffered an ankle injury that ruled him out of two games.
But he looked sharp on his return, finding the net in Tottenham’s victories over Brentford, Qarabag and Manchester United.
He is likely to join captain Harry Kane and Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins as one of three striker options for Carsley.
However, United defender Harry Maguire will miss out after losing his place in Erik ten Hag’s starting XI.
Ten Hag has favored the combination of Matthijs de Ligt and Lisandro Martinez in recent weeks despite United’s disappointing start to the season, and Maguire is expected to pay the price by missing out on Carsley’s latest selection.
