Google Pixel 9a once again tipped for an ugly redesign in new renders

Google could be planning something unusual with the Pixel 9a, because while the company’s a-series handsets tend to look similar to other Pixel models of a given generation, the Pixel 9a might not look all that much like the Google Pixel 9, or even on the Pixel 8a. At least that’s the impression given by some newly leaked renders.

Android Headsin collaboration with leaker @OnLeaks, has shared renders that supposedly show the Google Pixel 9a, one of which you can see below. The design ditches the camera bar protruding from the Pixel 9, while the lenses sit almost flush with the back of the handset.

It makes for an arguably more ordinary and boring design, and one we’re not too fond of, especially when combined with the large bezels around the screen.
