Police swarm Kyle Sandilands’ Sydney home after radio star’s ‘billionaire row’ street was targeted: ‘It was pandemonium’

Kyle Sandilands’ $13 million Vaucluse mansion was surrounded by police on Sunday night after thieves targeted his street in Sydney’s affluent eastern suburbs.

Speaking about the ordeal on Tuesday’s Kyle and Jackie O Show, Kyle revealed that more than 30 officers with sniffer dogs descended on his street following reports that a trio of thieves had broken into a number of properties in the area.

“So I get woken up around 2:30 a.m. by my security guy with burglary alerts on the edge of the house,” the 53-year-old shock jock said.

“There are different sounds in my house depending on if people are entering the property, in the house or something.”

When he asked what all the fuss was about, he was told by security that it was in fact the police who set off Kyle’s alarm, not the alleged intruders.

“I said, ‘What’s going on here? Is anyone on the property?’ They were the police,” he continued.

“Apparently a lot of people were robbed on my street last night.”

Kyle added that his street would be a perfect target for thieves and the reason his house didn’t catch the eye of criminals was because there were much more attractive targets.

“I’m the broket bitch on my block,” he said.

“We’ve got billionaires, we’ve got the guy who owns Door Dash or something like that. The Murdochs once lived there.”

He further explained that police asked Kyle to enter his property with dogs so they could continue their search for the alleged burglars.

“The boys are on the run.” he said. “There are about thirty cops on my street, it’s pandemonium.”

He also found time to praise the athleticism of the NSW Police Force.

‘She [dogs] He was sniffing around and this big giant cop was jumping over seven foot fences like it was nothing. He was an impressive guy.”

Kyle added that he wasn’t sure how the drama ended because he was eager to go back to sleep.

‘I don’t know if they got the boys or not. I said I’m going back up.”

The Daily Telegraph reported that two intruders remain at large and the police investigation is ongoing.
