The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia (and other Zelda history books) are half the price

If you’re looking for the best gift for a The Legend of Zelda fan in your life – which, of course, could be the person you see in the mirror – consider picking up this trio of official hardcover books that chronicle the history of Link’s and Zelda’s Adventures: Ee Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia, Art and artifactsAnd Hyrule History. They’re all on sale for about half off, or you can pick up the entire set for less than $65 total (regularly $130).
Each book is a compendium that looks back at the history of the franchise up to 2017 The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wildmeaning it covers the first 30 years, but not the more recent Switch era. They all feature behind-the-scenes art, plus interviews with key figures from the franchise’s history, such as Shigeru Miyamoto and series producer Eiji Aonuma. The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia also includes the official timeline, which alone could make it worth a look.
