The Broncos are scheduled to return to Colorado around 7:00 PM ET, but it is unclear if Badie would make the return trip with the team. “We’ll see,” Payton responded when questioned about the matter.

The terrifying moment came near the end of the first quarter of the Broncos’ narrow 10-9 victory over the Jets.

Slow-motion replays showed Badie landing awkwardly on his head and neck during a play for the Broncos against the Jets before managing to return to the sideline.

Just seconds later, he collapsed to the ground while standing among his teammates, and medics rushed to his aid.

Shortly afterwards, as the second quarter of the game began, Badie had a neck brace strapped on and was taken back to the locker room for further assessment.

He was then quickly ruled out for the remainder of the match, but the full extent of his injuries is currently unclear.
