He died in Ft. Collins, Colorado on Thursday, TMZ reported.

The fan-favorite Hollywood actor captivated the nation for fifty years, appearing in more than 200 film, TV and stage productions throughout his career.
He quickly became a household name after his most notable film, 1984’s Beverly Hills Cop, after working alongside Eddie Murphy.
The actor’s family has asked for donations to a hospice care center in lieu of flowers.
