NYC mayor Eric Adams trolled for ‘delusional’ post amid calls to resign over bribery and fraud charges

Embattled New York Mayor Eric Adams has been mercilessly targeted for an Instagram post he made overnight while visiting a senior center in Harlem, where he appears blissfully unaffected by the bribery and fraud charges against him.

With a persistent grin, Adams happily walked through the ARC A. Philip Randolph Older Adult Center taking photos with his constituents.

In two photos you see him beaming above a cake that reads: ‘Happy Birthday To All September Seniors.’

He was also seen dancing as an announcer repeatedly shouted “Go Eric!” shouted. and ‘Our Mayor!’

Commenters on the Friday post were baffled by Adams’ tone-deafness after he became the first sitting New York mayor charged with crimes, let alone five federal charges that could land him in prison for up to 45 years if convicted.

One user asked whether Adams had told the elderly he visited that he had defrauded New York taxpayers of $10 million with allegedly fraudulent campaign funds.

Others simply couldn’t believe the optics of the post, and the same day he pleaded not guilty in court.

“Dude, maybe read the room… is this what you want to post about? Who advises you? They should be fired,” one person wrote.

“Great energy for rearranging deck chairs on the titans,” wrote another.

‘Erik! Just go to jail,” a third wrote.
