The mother of Aaron Carter’s only child has confirmed that the late singer is indeed the biological father of son Prince – after rumors swirled about the child’s paternity.
Carter died at the age of 34 on November 5, 2022, when he was found drowned in a bathtub by a housekeeper – less than a year after he welcomed his son with fiancée Melanie Martin.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner later ruled it an accidental death, determining that he drowned after inhaling difluoroethane, a refrigerant in compressed air canisters used for dusting, and after taking generic Xanax taken.
Martin detailed the “baseless” allegations TMZ and said that both she and Prince, who turns three in November, have received “death threats and other forms of harassment” over the years.
Martin and Prince, along with Carter’s twin sister Angel, have undergone a DNA test that proves ‘beyond a reasonable doubt’ that the I Want Candy singer is Prince’s biological father.

The test shows a ‘probability of a relationship’ of 99.7403 percent between Angel and Prince.
Martin said: “I have been lucky enough to protect my son from all of this so far, but now that my son is getting older and learning to read, I have decided to put an end to these rumors once and for all. all.
“I hope that the hatred and baseless rumors to the contrary will now stop.”
Aaron fell even deeper into his addiction after his sister Leslie died of a drug overdose in 2012 at the age of 25.
The family tragedies came quickly for Aaron, who also lost his father Robert Carter to an apparent heart attack in 2017.
During the drug rehabilitation he underwent after his father’s death, doctors concluded that Aaron suffered from multiple personality disorders and schizophrenia.

According to officials, Aaron was “incapacitated while in the tub due to the effects” of the drugs.
