Mom who was arrested at Disneyland blasts ‘pure lies’ as she describes ‘worst day’

A California mother who was led away from Disneyland in handcuffs as her crying daughters clung to her has blasted the “pure lies” from the iconic theme park.

Jessenia Diaz, 26, of Torrance, was taken into custody Tuesday at the Happiest Place on Earth for allegedly trying to sneak her children into the theme park.

She was charged on suspicion of trespassing after Disneyland officials alleged she tried to bring her two daughters, ages 3 and 4, into the park without paying.

But Diaz is now promising to tell her side of the story, as she threatened to sue the theme park.

“What they are saying is pure lies,” she posted on TikTok.

“I will post the truth,” Diaz promised a TikTok video shows her surrounded by Disneyland security and Anaheim police officers in front of the Goof Sky School roller coaster.

“I have documented why everything posted is full of lies.”

“Social media is full of lies and hate,” Diaz captioned the 10-second video, describing it as the “#worstday”

In another video posted to her TikTok from July, showing her two daughters enjoying a carousel ride — in which she identifies herself as a “single mom” — Diaz responded to questions about the incident.

Some asked if her children were okay after the on-camera arrest.

‘Yes. Thank you for asking,” she replied. “Thank you for taking care of my daughters.”

Diaz blasted the police’s story, saying the allegations are “pure lies,” as she shared a video of herself surrounded by Disneyland security and Anaheim police officers.

However, other users blamed Diaz for putting herself and her young children through this ordeal, to which she replied, “If you don’t know, you shouldn’t respectfully say anything.”

In response to another comment, Diaz threatened to file a lawsuit.

“Definitely press charges,” she wrote. “I have proof LOL. It’s all he said, she said.’

Diaz is accused of smuggling her children into the park without buying tickets for them — something officers say has happened at least four times in the past two months. according to the Orange County Register.

She had reportedly claimed on Tuesday that her two daughters were under three years old and therefore allowed to enter the park for free – although video of her arrest shows that the girls are clearly older as they beg for help. KTLA reports.

A one-day Disneyland ticket for children ages 3 to 9 costs between $112 and $160 — just less than the $119-$169 that guests ages 10 and older pay.

Disneyland officials offered to let her buy tickets for the children and stay at the park, but she refused, police allege.

Diaz then allegedly stopped cooperating with Disneyland security, and they were forced to call Anaheim police.

She was eventually booked into jail on suspicion of trespassing and released with a summons.
