The View hosts brutally slammed over Biden interview… including Sonny Hostin’s ‘deranged’ comparison

Supporters of former President Donald Trump ridiculed the partisan hosts of The View for their fawning interview with President Joe Biden on Wednesday, but were outraged by their discussion of the former president as an “insect” and disgusted by their comparison of Biden to President George Washington.

Host Whoopie Goldberg angered Republican viewers after she called Trump a “bug” buzzing around her head, prompting Biden to slam the table as if he were squashing a bug.

“Give him a slap,” Joe Behar said cheerfully.

Trump’s campaign posted the clip on social media, claiming that “Democrats are the party of violence.”

“Two assassination attempts on his life are not enough for these sick people,” wrote conservative media presenter Toni Lahren.

“Is this incitement? Imagine if Trump did this,” wrote Chaya Raichik of the popular “Libs of TikTok” account.

Others laughed at presenter Sunny Houston, who compared Biden to America’s first president, George Washington, saying he would “go down in history as Washington.”

“Sub-40% approval rating Joe Biden is George Washington. That’s how crazy these people are,” wrote X user Johnny Maga.

“Delusional,” added Ian Miles Cheong.

“These people are absolute scum,” wrote user Joe Wallin.

“Yes, it will. As the worst president in the history of the country,” Kelly Leak wrote. “He makes Jimmy Carter look like George Washington.”

Biden was warmly welcomed by the hosts, who praised his legacy and his decision to step back from his re-election bid.

But Goldberg told Biden she was not happy with the way things were going.

“I didn’t like the way they did it. I’m just going to say it out loud because no one says it out loud. I didn’t like the way it was done in public. I thought they could have done it a different way because then we wouldn’t have to hear all that internal struggle,” she said.

Goldberg said she fully supported Biden’s re-election bid before he stepped back from his campaign and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris.

“I’m telling you. You were my ride or die. I went — wherever you went, I went,” she said.
