Caitlin Clark ends her WNBA rookie season with ANOTHER record – despite Connecticut Sun dumping her Indiana Fever out of the playoffs

Caitlin Clark couldn’t end her first WNBA season without setting another record, even though her season was ended in the first round of the postseason by her Indiana Fever against the Connecticut Sun.

In the season-ending loss to the Sun, Clark scored 25 points, with nine assists and six rebounds. She is the first rookie to win a 25-5-5 game in the postseason.

The WNBA Rookie of the Year led the Fever’s resurgence, which led to them putting together some astonishing performances during the regular season as well.

Clark was the first rookie to record a triple-double, set the WNBA record for most assists in a season and set the league record for most 3-pointers made as a rookie.

Clark was also the player in the WNBA to reach 500 points and 200 assists the fastest.

Clark’s season ended Wednesday night, but not without setting a new league record

Clark also ranked as the top WNBA rookie in points per game, field goals made, assists per game and steals per game.

The former Iowa star also set the rookie scoring record this season with 769 points.

Clark also finished fourth in WNBA MVP voting and was named to Team WNBA during the All-Star Game.

More to come.
