Nancy Pelosi reprimands CNN host Jake Tapper live on air for making wild Trump claims about Kamala Harris
Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has blasted a CNN anchor for making recent comments about Vice President Kamala Harris’ cognitive abilities.
The San Francisco Democrat’s heated response came after CNN host Jake Tapper asked her about recent comments made by former President Donald Trump.
“Donald Trump says Kamala Harris has bigger cognitive problems than Joe Biden,” Tapper began as he was about to finish his question.
Then Pelosi abruptly interrupts: “Why would you even discuss that?”

Pelosi looked wide-eyed in disbelief as he heard the words come out of Tapper’s mouth.
She immediately continued her resistance to his questions.
“This is a person who is not up to par,” she said. “He is their candidate for president.”
“He’s incompetent,” she continued.
Pelosi also said Trump’s suggestion that Harris has “cognitive issues” is a sexist attack on women.
“Let’s not even talk about the foolishness and strangeness of it all, and the attack on women that it is.”
Although Tapper appeared to want to clarify Trump’s comments, Pelosi immediately told him the story wasn’t worth CNN’s attention.
Tapper did not seem amused by the former speaker’s sharp tongue

Trump’s comment, which earned Tapper Pelosi’s scorn, came as the former president campaigned in Georgia on Tuesday.
“They’re laughing at us all over the world,” the ex-president said at the rally. “You know what they’re really laughing at? Kamala.”
“They can’t believe she’s actually going to become president.”
“You’re talking about cognitive issues? She has bigger cognitive issues than he does, in my opinion.”
During his speech, he did not specifically identify what he believed made Harris’ mental state worse than Biden’s.

Trump, however, has ridiculed Biden as too old for office. This line of attack gained credence earlier this year when the Justice Department ruled that Biden looks “elderly” and has a “bad memory.”
Now that Biden is out of the race, Democrats argue that Trump is too old and mentally debilitated to serve in the White House.
