Selling Sunset’s Mary Fitzgerald reveals she had an AFFAIR with a ‘married New York Yankees player’
Selling Sunset star Mary Fitzgerald Bonnet has revealed she had a romantic relationship with an unnamed New York Yankees baseball player, in her new book Selling Sunshine: Surviving Teenage Motherhood, Thriving in Luxury Real Estate, and Finally Finding My Voice.
The reality star, who recently spoke openly about her traumatic sexual assault, did not name him but described him as an MLB player who played for the “New York Yankees and several other major teams” during his career.
The Netflix star said he told her he was getting a divorce, but that lie was exposed when she saw his wife and son on TV during his game.
“The truth came out and everything fell apart. I couldn’t go to any of his baseball games, so I watched it on TV at home,” she said in her book, via We weekly.
He adds: ‘I shouldn’t have been so shocked when the cameraman caught the smiling faces of his wife and son after a few innings.

Mary said that when she saw them, she refused to “be the other woman” and left New York City to “start over” in Los Angeles.
While in LA, Mary revealed that she was in a relationship with LFO’s Brad Fischetti, although it was “not serious at all.”
Her book Selling Sunshine: Surviving Teenage Motherhood, Thriving in Luxury Real Estate, and Finally Finding My Voice was published on Tuesday, September 24.
In her book, Mary talks more about motherhood as a teenager.
In March 1997, while she was a sophomore in high school, she gave birth to son Austin Babbitt.
She and her boyfriend stayed together for a while, until he “stopped showing up altogether.”

The book also details the terrifying sexual assault Mary endured when she first arrived in LA.
Mary said he had sedated her and that she “noticed my thoughts becoming fuzzy and my eyelids becoming heavy.”
She said she woke up to find herself on the bed, “with my arms pinned to the mattress and my pants around my ankles. He was on top of me and inside me.”
Mary became a household name as the star of the hit Netflix series Selling Sunset.
The eighth season of the series was released earlier this month.
Mary is now married to Romain Bonnet, whom she married in March 2018.
