After RFK Jr’s endless cheating, his sick ‘sex diaries’ and the suicidal wife he drove mad, ‘sexting mistress’ Olivia Nuzzi is his latest roadkill. But, warns MAUREEN CALLAHAN, she’ll get her revenge

Virtually every woman in RFK Jr.’s life will eventually become a traffic victim.

Take Olivia Nuzzi, the star political reporter whose sexting relationship with Kennedy led to him portraying her as an idiot and a slut — just as Bill and Hillary Clinton did to Monica Lewinsky and countless other women.

“She was aggressively pursuing him,” an RFK Jr. source said of Nuzzi this weekend. “She was pretty gung-ho about him. . . . It was a little scary. She was obsessed with him. I think she still is.”

Subtle.

Yes, this lifelong serial rapist and adulterer — who was caught by his second wife, Mary Richardson, with the contact information of at least 43 alleged mistresses in his cell phone, not to mention the extensive lists of other women in his infamous “sex diaries” — somehow became a passive victim of this deranged, sex-crazed stalker.

Virtually every woman in RFK Jr.’s life will eventually become a traffic victim.

Nuzzi is 31 years old. She is, for now, a respected, award-winning journalist at New York magazine, where she has worked since 2017.

You can’t get this far so quickly – and in a sector where everyone works really hard – without being talented, smart, socially adept and completely sane.

Nuzzi has admitted to a personal, “non-physical” relationship with Kennedy that began after she profiled him for the magazine last November and sent him nude photos. She has since been suspended pending an investigation.

Was such a relationship a conflict of interest? Yes, without a doubt.

But was Nuzzi’s online affair really as bad as our mainstream media, figuratively speaking, being in bed with Kamala Harris?

As the magazine’s Washington correspondent, Nuzzi has not covered RFK Jr. since that first profile, nor has she used him as a source.

And yet we have a media that feeds Harris softballs, tips a presidential debate in her favor, changes her vocabulary, and insists her nonsense makes sense.

Harris told Oprah Winfrey during that embarrassing online event last Thursday: “Let’s come together with the character that we’re so proud of and who we are.”

Julia Roberts cheered. Meryl Streep nearly cried. And Oprah held up Harris as presidential material, despite her offering zero policy proposals or explaining what she stands for, believes in, or will do in office.

But let’s hang Olivia Nuzzi in the public square!

Where is the left in all of this? They love nothing more than defending a scapegoated woman.

But Nuzzi betrayed the cause once again by writing a damning and truthful piece this summer in which he acknowledged that the entire White House press corps had known about Biden’s cognitive decline all along.

She also recently published a profile of Trump, taking him and the attempted assassination of him in July seriously. The horror.

And so RFK Jr., who was public enemy number one for as long as he ran for president and hurt the Democrats’ chances, is now the victim.

Think back to the time when RKF Jr.’s uncle, Ted Kennedy, lost all hope of running for president. Not because he left campaign worker Mary Jo Kopechne to die in three feet of water after he drove his car off a bridge in Chappaquiddick, but because he got this question wrong when asked by journalist Roger Mudd in 1979: “Why do you want to be president?”

Ted was talkative and meandering.

“It is of great importance that this country moves forward,” he said, “but it cannot stand still, otherwise it will go backwards.”

Ted Kennedy walked so Kamala Harris could run — literally.

Uncle Ted was also pater familias to RFK Jr. and all the young, fatherless Kennedy boys. He set indelible examples of how to treat women: Kopechne, who could have been saved; his wife Joan, whom he drove to alcoholism through his persistent lies and deceit; and the young waitress he sexually abused in a Washington, D.C., restaurant, to name a few.

As Kennedy is accustomed to, RFK Jr. follows the family handbook: the moment a woman becomes a nuisance, call her crazy.

If she refuses to leave, tell the media she’s a slut, a groupie, a liar, a gold digger, a drug addict. Threaten her.

Nuzzi declined my request for comment and has remained largely silent—even as she loses everything: Her fiancé Ryan Lizza publicly dumped her. New York magazine will surely fire her.

But rather than let this story die, rather than give his virtual affair partner even an ounce of dignity, RFK Jr. has become even more vengeful, threatening Nuzzi with lawsuits, both civil and criminal.

Criminal!

Poor Bobby. He was, according to a mutual friend of the pair, ‘bombarded’ by Nuzzi with ‘more and more pornographic photos and videos’.

“Haunted by porn,” says Gavin de Becker, a major donor to his campaign.

Bobby Kennedy Jr., whose response to a published Vanity Fair sexual abuse allegation this summer was, “I’m not a church boy,” haunted by porn.

Sounds just like the “robberies” he described in his sex diaries, which were exposed by the New York Post after Mary’s suicide in 2012. All those lusty women who couldn’t control themselves around the irresistible RFK Jr., with the worm in his head and his penchant for mutilating dead animals.

Roadkill is the ultimate metaphor for any woman around this man.

His camp also claims that Nuzzi kept “tricking” him into unblocking her. This makes no sense. If he blocked her, how would he have seen her messages asking him to unblock her?

And if he was so afraid — if Nuzzi was all in on “Fatal Attraction,” as he would have us believe — why would he even have contact with her?

Much more credible to me are the reports that RFK Jr. bragged so openly and frequently about Nuzzi’s nude photos that her boss knew about them too.

His version? He barely knows her.

“Mr. Kennedy met Olivia Nuzzi only once in his life, for an interview she requested,” his spokesman said, “which resulted in a damning article.”

Again — poor Bobby!

Kennedy men have done this to countless girlfriends, aides, wives and mistresses: Jackie Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe, Carolyn Bessette, Ted’s wife Joan, Bobby’s wife Mary.

When Bobby divorced Mary in 2012, he was also in a relationship with his current wife Cheryl Hines. She bragged on Twitter about the fun she had with Bobby and Mary’s children.

He then ignored a court order to pay Mary, the mother of four of his children, $20,000 a month. He blocked Mary’s credit cards. She had to beg other mothers on the school run for $20 for gas or groceries.

After she committed suicide in their barn, he buried her with great fanfare in the Kennedy family grave. A week later, he had her secretly exhumed in the middle of the night and reburied far away and alone.

Just one day after her suicide he went to the New York Times and said that Mary was in deep trouble. I wonder why.

“I often don’t know how she got through the day,” he said. “She’s been in a lot of pain for a lot of her life.”

And this self-serving statement in his eulogy: “I know I did everything I could to help her.”

Despite rumors that Bobby had cheated on him a week before their wedding, Hines married him in 2014.

Hey, at least she gets the full Kennedy wife experience now.

As for Nuzzi, she is no one’s victim. But she is also almost 40 years younger than one of our most famous and charismatic politicians who, it is alleged, has abused his power again.

By the way — Nuzzi’s ex-fiancé and fellow journalist Ryan Lizza was fired from The New Yorker for alleged sexual misconduct, which he denied. He has since ended up at Politico.

Jeffrey Toobin, a legal analyst and writer for the same magazine, was fired in 2020 for masturbating during a Zoom meeting. He has since returned to CNN happy.

If there is any justice, Olivia Nuzzi will get a second chance.
