Spanish-Mexican singer Belinda Peregrin takes a TUMBLE on the runway as she walks the L’Oreal show at Paris Fashion Week

Spanish-Mexican singer Belinda Peregrin made a misstep on the catwalk during the L’Oréal show during Paris Fashion Week.

The 35-year-old singer and actress, who appeared in the 2006 Disney Channel Original Movie The Cheetah Girls as Marisol, was featured in Monday’s fashion show along with a host of other famous faces.

Belinda radiated in a red combi-set consisting of a chic sweater and mini skirt, a belt with gold buckles and red over-the-knee boots.

But it was her sky-high heels that posed a problem: she tripped and fell to her knees in the middle of the catwalk.

She didn’t seem too fazed by the mishap, giggling as a stylist quickly helped her to her feet and fix her outfit so she could finish her walk.

The ‘Princess of Latin Pop’ – full name Belinda Peregrín Schüll – has a large following, especially in Latin America, and has sold more than 16 million albums worldwide.

She was a successful TV actress from a young age, landing her first telenovela role in Amigos x Siempre! when she was only ten.

However, her few film roles were limited to voice work, aside from the 2006 Disney film The Cheetah Girls 2.

Yet the premiere of that film was the highest-rated Disney Channel movie at the time, even beating the original High School Musical.

Heavy rain threatened to turn the launch of Paris Fashion Week on Monday into a French spectacle.

Fortunately for L’Oréal, their extravagant opening performance was not disrupted by the storm raging outside the Opéra National de Paris.

While those waiting outside were getting soaked in the name of fashion, the French cosmetics brand and its regular cast of A-list ambassadors were inside.

While guests avoided the rain, the Walk Your Worth show took place as part of the Women’s Ready-to-wear Spring/Summer 2025 collection.

It was inevitable that Kendall Jenner and her recently bleached blonde hair would grab the lion’s share of the attention in the L’Oréal spotlight.

But she was in good company that evening, as her spokeswomen Heidi Klum, Eva Longoria and Cara Delevingne also received their fair share of attention as they strutted down the catwalk.

Other stars who graced the catwalk included actresses Andie McDowell, Jane Fonda, Viola Davis and singers Camilla Cabello and Rochelle Humes.
